AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY

These ads created for the American Cancer Society show the progression of cancer. PET scans are symbolized with Christmas lights and a skeleton, the amount of lights increase as the cancer progresses. After years of smoking the PET scans could light up like a Christmas tree, indicating the disease is advanced.  A skeleton was chosen since anyone, no matter their race, gender or age can be diagnosed with this disease.
